FAQ’s, Terms & Conditions:
Footwear
We recommend wearing enclosed and comfortable footwear as the ground can be uneven and is unsuitable for high heels. You will be walking through the crop and walking a short distance on the tour.
Hats
We also recommend bringing a wide brim hat to avoid the afternoon sun whilst enjoying your time on the property. Shade will be provided at the table however we encourage guests to bring their own hats for the ultimate comfort. This applies for sunglasses as well.
Sunscreen
Will be provided onsite for guest use.
Jackets
It can get cold at night so we recommend bringing along a light jumper just in case.
Parking
Available onsite at the designated car park. Transport from here to the paddock is provided.
Dietary Requirements
We try to accommodate for as many dietary requirements as possible, however we can’t always cater for everyone. Please remember these events are on farm and more often than not, will include a meat-based protein. If you are concerned about a specific dietary request, please get in touch and we will do our best to cater for your needs but cannot guarantee your request can be met.
On Farm Activity
There will be some heavy vehicle movement in and around the property, including semi trailers and road trains. We ask that you take particular care when travelling along the country roads to the property and on the property. Always drive to the speed limit and be mindful of traffic and pedestrians at all times. All farm equipment has the right of way.
Additional On-Site Pre-cautions
By entering the property any vehicles, machinery, your footwear and clothing must be clean and free from pests, weed seeds and plant materials. Every person attending the event must take additional precautions including a chemical footbath if requested. If you refuse to clean and demonstrate that your vehicles, machinery, footwear and clothing are clean then you will be refused entry to the property.
Indemnity and Liability
You enter the property at your own risk and bear all liability including damage or loss that you may incur to your person or property or cause or contribute to the loss or damage to a person or property. By entering the property you hold VC Events Co Australia harmless of any liability.
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What if bad weather is predicted?
We keep a close eye on the weather forecast before each of our events, and if the weather is looking a little wet it will still go ahead with a few minor changes – we have a wet weather plan in place which is a spectacle in itself.
Can I reserve a seat or sit with my friends?
We don’t have reserved seats at the table, however if you are a group of 10 or more we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Please get in touch via admin@vcevents.com.au to submit your request of 10 or more people.
Where can I stay?
You cannot stay onsite at the event, however a number of options nearby will be provided for your consideration.
What transport is available?
A bus ticket is included in all tickets. A link will be available to you upon purchasing your tickets to reserve your seat on the bus. If you are self-driving, please note we strictly do not condone drink driving so we highly recommend and encourage guests to take the bus or carpool with friends with a designated non drinking driver so you all get home safely.
Can I get a refund on my ticket or on sell it if I can no longer attend?
We do not offer refunds on tickets if the purchaser can no longer attend, however you may on sell it to another guest who can attend the event instead. It does not matter if the ticket is in another person’s name.
What if the event is cancelled?
If for whatever reason the event needs to be cancelled, refunds will be offered to all ticket holders.
Are children allowed at the event?
This is an adult only event and unsuitable for children and babies.
Can I bring my pet?
No pets are allowed on the property at any time during the event.
